Six suspected ISWAP members with their families surrendered to 192 Battalion, handing over ₦1,541,500 and two phones after fleeing Mandara mountain enclaves. Troops at Molai checkpoint also nabbed a BHT/ISWAP medical supplier with large quantities of drugs lacking clearance.
233 Tank Battalion and local hunters intercepted a suspected ISWAP logistics supplier from Ngirya, Tarmuwa LGA, seizing five motorcycle tires. All suspects and items remain in military custody as investigations widen.
HQ OPHK says Search and Rescue ops will continue “until every abducted person is accounted for.” Capt. Mohammed Goni warned: anyone supplying terrorists with food, fuel, materials, or transport “will be identified, apprehended and prosecuted.”
