Scket Morffy, whose real name is Kelvin Tochukwu Nwobodo, a reggae-pop, Afrobeat legend, has dropped another single titled “Mr. President”.
This is a dynamic song, highly and poetically composed, giving him a class in the world of music. The song is politically instigated and emotionally driven. Scket Morffy dropped this single with the sole aim of letting the world know that leadership, especially leading human beings, is not always an easy task.
But people always rise up to criticize and condemn their leaders, speak or say all sorts of things which in most cases are not right. Through this song “Mr. President” Scket Morffy stated that “He who wears the shoe knows where it pinches” meaning that it’s only the person who sits at the hem of affairs that understands the true nature of it.
Scket Morffy, in this song, positioned himself as the president (the voice of the president) encouraging the masses to embrace peace, unity and cooperation towards making the nation great, understanding that “Mr. President” who controls the affairs of the nation, has truly defined his stand and position, and he’s not looking back as he’s guided by principles made by the nation’s hand.
