The body of former President Muhammadu Buhari was on Tuesday brought out of a Nigerian Air Force aircraft at the Umar Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina State.
President Bola Tinubu, accompanied by governors, ministers, lawmakers, and other top government officials, received the late President’s remains as they were lowered from the aircraft.
Buhari’s body arrived from London, United Kingdom, and is being taken to his hometown, Daura, for a state burial.
At the airport are Governor Dikko Radda, former Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, governors, Chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
Others are Ministers, former governors, former and serving Senators, Alhaji Dahiru Managl, former Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NEC) amongst others.
